Sunday is the best day of the week, don’t you agree? The day to relax after a busy week, spending some time with your loved ones and, of course, food! And what’s a Sunday without a delicious breakfast?

This recipe is a tasty combination of home-made croissants (instructions below), eggs and bake-off buns.

Surprise someone with this delicious Air Fryer breakfast including ‘boiled’ eggs, also made in the Air Fryer!

We love to experiment with different fillings for our croissants, like grated cheese, Nutella and even Speculoos (a delicious Belgian cookie spread). Or just make a classic, plain croissant and enjoy it with some butter and jam.

Tasty Sunday Air Fryer Breakfast

Tasty Sunday Breakfast Pinterest

Delicious recipe for a cozy Sunday breakfast. Including home-made croissants, eggs and buns.

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Total Time 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 home-made croissants (see instructions at the end of the page)
  • 2 small buns (bake-off)
  • 2-4 soft boiled or hard boiled eggs
  • Strawberry jam
  • Dairy butter

Requirements

  • Air Fryer
  • Tin foil and baking paper (optional; see tips)

Instructions

  1. Load up the Air Fryer with the bake-off rolls and set the timer to 4 minutes at 180 ℃. 6 minutes if you like them super crunchy.
  2. Prepare your croissants. Don’t forget about the awesome variations!
  3. Put the croissants in the Air Fryer for 8 minutes at 180 ℃. 10 minutes if you use variations. Depending on the size of your device, you can prepare 2-4 at the same time.
  4. Enjoy your bake-off rolls while your croissants are still in the Air
Fryer. Tip: we love to eat them with a slice of cheese and (strawberry)
    jam on top.
  5. While you enjoy the amazingly tasty croissants, you can place the eggs in the basket and set the temperature to 160 ℃ with a timer of 6 minutes.

Notes

  • Bake the eggs and croissants together at 160 ℃ for 6 minutes. That’s when you take out the eggs and continue baking the croissants for another 4 minutes at 160℃. For hard boiled eggs, you can leave them with the croissants for the entire 10 minutes at 160 ℃.
  • Use baking paper so your croissants won’t stick to your basket.
  • You can use tin foil as a surface to roll the croissants, so you can easily wrap the leftovers to store in the fridge.
