After a week of healthy food, it is time to reward yourself with a cheat day including french fries and snacks! This is not really a recipe, but more of a how-to.

So there are plenty of meals to choose from: the Dutch really love their french fries with classic snacks like ‘frikandel’ (the sausage in the picture), croquette and as a vegetarian option: a cheese soufflé.

As an extra snack or side dish, we love to put some squid rings in the Air Fryer.

  2. Load up the Air Fryer with the french fries and set the timer to 10 minutes at 180 ℃.
  3. When the timer is done, it is time to take the basket out and shake the fries (additional: you can add some salt while shaking).
  4. Set the timer for another 10 minutes and add the snacks of your choice with the fries in the Air Fryer. You should be able to fit in at least 2 snacks, but, depending on the size of your device, this might differ.
  5. Yay, time to feast!

Notes

  • You can use ANY type of fries or snacks, even those that are not specifically prepared for Air Fryers.
  • When using fresh raw potato products, if you like, we advise to sprinkle a bit of (sunflower) oil for the best taste.
  • Combine mayonnaise, curry sauce and fried onions to create the ultimate sauce.
